This year will be the 74th year for the show, which runs March 8th, 9th and 10th. There will be over 60 vendors you can talk to about your home improvement needs. There will be door prizes and raffles during the show. Friday night will be food truck night, and there will be entertainment throughout the weekend. So if you are looking for some ideas, or fun for the whole family, the home show is the place to be.

"It's a great time to come out, get that 'Honey Do List' started or maybe completed. Talk to the vendors, they want to talk to you," says Paul Downing, Lima Noon Optimist Club. "So, it's a great time to find out the things you need for your home, you know, or things you are trying to update and get those questions answered. The other part that is important that it's what the funding comes in for and the proceeds go to, Safety City, Lima Youth Orchestra, Youth Baseball. Those things are community programs that the Lima Noon Optimist Club supports."

Lima Safety City's summer academy hosted over 320 kids last year, but that is just part of what the Optimist Club helps with.

"The Lima Noon Optimist is Safety City," says Officer Eric Mericle, Safety City and Lima Police Department. "I mean they fund everything that goes on there. The Summer Academy, you know, the shirts that we give to the kids, the bags and everything that we have for them, the treats for them. So, without the Lima Noon Optimist, the Summer Academy wouldn't be, and Safety City probably wouldn't be there. They are a huge part of it, they are a great partner to have and they are a lot of fun to work with."

If you would like to be part of the fun, the home show runs the weekend of March 8th at the Allen County Fairgrounds. The cost is $2 for adults and kids are free. For more information, visit https://limaoptimist.com/home-show/.
