The Lima Rotary Foundation is committed to helping make Lima Allen County a better place for all of us.
On Monday, donations of more than $55,000 were given to the foundation to help with their projects. $40,000 from their annual golf outing will go to scholarships for non-traditional students. Money from the spring blood clinic and donations from club members of more than $5,000 will go toward grants to local organizations to help in the community.
"Our goals is to help improve, bring up people in the community, and also improve their community just through our efforts, what we're trying to do and sustain a better community for all of us," said Andy Wannemacher, Lima Rotary Foundation president.
