November 19, 2024, Press Release from Lima City Schools:Lima Senior High School Junior Christopher Kight auditioned for and has been selected to the Ohio Music Education Association’s (OMEA) District 3 Honor Choir.
Kight is a member of Lima Senior’s Masterworks and Scarlet & Gray choirs. He is also in the Spartan Marching Pride.
He will perform with the Honor Choir at the District 3 Honor Festival Concert, showcasing the talents of the Band, Choir and Jazz Band. The concert will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan.19, at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert.
The District 3 Honor Choir is made up of 100 talented students from the eight counties of District 3: Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, and Van Wert.
