CELINA, Ohio (WLIO) — One resident was taken to the hospital and two dogs were killed after a two-alarm fire broke out Sunday morning at a mobile home in Celina.
The Celina Fire Department was called to the home at 5057 Mud Pike just after 10:30 a.m. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire venting from the front door and windows. Firefighters assisted a neighbor who was trying to remove multiple dogs from the home. Crews were able to rescue five dogs; two were killed in the fire. One resident was transported to the hospital with injuries. Crews say the mobile home sustained heavy damage. No foul play is suspected, and the state fire marshal has been contacted to assist with the investigation.
