A Putnam County man is in the midst of his retrial for the murder of his 13 month year old son, back in 2005.
Michael Luebrecht was in his third day of his retrial on Thursday. The prosecution has wrapped up and the defense spent the better part of the day with their expert witness on the stand. Luebrecht changed his 2006 guilty plea to not guilty, saying the combination of his anti-depressant and OCD medication that doctors put him on then removed caused his mental issues that led to him drowning his son in a bathtub in May 2005.
The court expects to hear closing arguments Friday afternoon.
