Residential Management Systems is opening their 3rd facility in the Lima area in hopes of helping those with disabilities gain independence.
The R.M.S. of Ohio Life Skills Center offers a day program that will teach the basic skills needed for a person with disability to live on their own. The center is set up with stations like a laundry room, a kitchen and a bedroom that will have classroom instruction, role modeling and in the field practicing.
The center is located just in front of Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center on West Elm Street. Classes are scheduled to begin next week. If you are interested in learning more about the life skills center you can call 419-222-8806
