LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Ohio State Lima students had the opportunity to explore campus clubs during the spring Student Involvement Fair.
The event gave students a chance to meet new people and learn more about student organizations across the Buckeye campus. Some of the clubs represented included the Social Work Club, Pride Club and the Black Student Union. Students say getting involved on campus can help build connections and open doors for future opportunities.
“One thing that's so great about being involved is that I've gotten close with a lot of professors and faculty, and people here who are very important. I am applying to vet school this semester, do I do have a pretty long list of people that I've just made connections with and have a good relationship,” said Makinley Jarrett, a junior at Ohio State Lima.
Students who missed the involvement fair can find a full list of clubs and organizations here.
