The holidays are all about the hustle and bustle, but there was nobody that was busier then the Ohio State Highway Patrol this past weekend. Patrol Post Sergeant, Matt Schmenk says they reported a total of 166 traffic stops, 8 DUI arrests, and 6 minor crashes over the weekend. He says holidays are the busiest travel days so they have more troopers working over time to make sure people get to where they are going safely and sober. With New Years Eve a few days away, Schmenk encourages motorists to have a designated driver if they plan plan to consume alcohol.
