PANDORA, Ohio (WLIO) — Two familiar Blanchard Valley Conference foes met again under the Friday night lights, as Pandora-Gilboa hosted Arlington in a playoff rematch.

The Rockets came out firing in the second half, already leading 21-14. Quarterback Cory Gerten launched a deep pass to Chase Meyer, who hauled it in for a 60-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 28-14.

Arlington’s defense showed some fight, breaking through the line for a big sack to stall a Rockets drive. But Pandora-Gilboa quickly answered — Gerten connected with Breydon Ferguson for another score, giving the Rockets a commanding 35-14 advantage.

The Rockets would tack on one more touchdown, scoring four times in the second half to pull away from the Red Devils.

Pandora-Gilboa goes on to win 42-20 and advances to face North Baltimore next Friday.
