An Ohio judge is looking over police interviews of the Bellefontaine woman accused of suffocating her three young sons.
Attorneys for 24-year-old Brittany Pilkington want her confession thrown out. They claim their client's constitutional rights were violated and that she was pressured into confessing. Her lawyers say she didn't understand what she was doing when she agreed to be interviewed without a lawyer. Prosecutors say she was advised of her rights and her comments were not coerced.
She has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder charges. Authorities say she killed two infants and a toddler son over a 13-month period because she was jealous of the attention her husband gave the boys.
