PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Putnam County firefighters battled a structure fire outside of Ottawa this afternoon.
Right after 1 o'clock Monday, the Ottawa Fire Department was called out to the 7800 block of Old State Route 224, when a passerby noticed the building on fire. Flames were seen coming from the roof and sides of the structure, which had car storage on one side and a woodshop on the other. Ottawa called in Gilboa, Glandorf, and Leipsic Fire Departments for manpower. The building is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was injured during the fire.
