OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) - If you're looking for something new to add to your summer reading list, consider an old book.
For sixty years, the Friends of the Putnam District Library have been giving old books new homes through their yearly used book and attic treasures sale. Used books, board games, DVDs and more donated by members of the community are up for sale this week in the Ottawa Elementary gym through Wednesday June 3rd. The money raised will go towards supporting Putnam County libraries.

"All the proceeds from our sale go back to the Putnam County Library and all of its branches," said Pam Eickholt with Friends of the Putnam County Library. "We sponsor summer programs throughout the year, bringing artists or authors in or any type of program that we think or the library thinks that people will be interested in."
You can visit the sale from 9:00 AM To 7:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the Ottawa Elementary gymnasium.
