Community members of Ada celebrated their local ReStore's 10th Anniversary this evening.
The ReStore began as a group of church members - people believing in the reality of Jesus Christ and desiring to help others through their ministry and desire come together. Visitors had a chance to hear about the center and enjoy some food and activities. Co-Founder Karen Ward say after discovering the need for a neutral facility, it was necessary to create a place where people can talk, and have a few racks of clean and good cloth for anyone that needed them, and maybe even a pot of hot soup for lunch or dinner.
The Ada ReStore also hosts weekly lunches Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. All are welcome to attend.
