LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Rhodes State College held its board of trustees meeting on Tuesday evening.

Among the topics discussed was the apprenticeship program between GROB and the college.

The relationship that has extended over 12 years allowing students to study at Rhodes while working at GROB Systems has paid major success from not only an educational standpoint but even more so from a mechanical and technical manufacturing need.

With newer technology becoming more accessible by the day, more job opportunities arise for students who are ready to contribute to the industry.

With newer technology becoming more accessible by the day, more job opportunities arise for students who are ready to contribute to the industry.

"One of the other important benefits of that relationship is that the GROB cohort also supports each other. They work in teams, and then they can apply the skills that they are learning in class directly to their work. They not only ensure their apprentices are at work and doing all those things, but they are really invested in the success and persistence of their students. It is super critical for any student, and it really shows just how committed they are to the success," said David Haus, Technology and Liberal Studies Dean at Rhodes State College.
