A Missouri man has been sentenced for his crimes involving the murder of Ryan VanBuskirk of Wapakoneta.
Rione Gray was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison. The sentencing comes after Gray made a plea deal to drop the murder charge against him and plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification. The plea deal carried a maximum of 6 years prison term. VanBuskirk was found lying on the lawn of the 700 block of Catalpa Street last November. He died from a gunshot wound. Gray fled to St. Louis following the shooting and was brought back by the Lima Police Department in April.
The other suspect in the crime, Chaz Jackson, hasn't been captured.
