After a year hiatus the Safety City Summer Academy is back up and running teaching children how to be safe in a variety of situations. Today starts the first of many summer classes, where kids will learn things like how to dial 9-1-1 and what questions the person at the other end will ask. They also learn self defense techniques if a stranger approaches. The children will have a sense of what to do in most emergency situations. All the camps are full for the summer, which means 421 children will be learning what Safety City has to offer.
