ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - In an effort to get information out to seniors about what services are available to them, Adult Protective Services is hosting a resource fair.
The event will have several agencies on hand including financial support and awareness services, home health care, and mental health professionals. Organizers say having all these resources gathered in one location makes finding what you need a little easier.
Jacob Largar is the Human Resources Administrator at Job and Family Services and adds, “We really want anybody and everybody that has a concern for an elder in their life or whether they’re an elder themselves to come on out. The event is open to the public. If you’ve just got any concerns for what might be available to you, please feel free to come on out to the event we absolutely would love to have you.”
The Senior Resources Fair is Wednesday, June 26th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ohio Means Jobs Allen County Workforce Development and Recruiting Center, 951 Commerce Parkway.
