Sheriff's Auction at the Allen County Fairgrounds

It's a sale of items that Allen County no longer wants or needs and they will go to the highest bidder Saturday morning.

The show arena at the Allen County Fairgrounds is full of file cabinets, desk chairs, computer towers, and monitors. You can also find tools, desk units, big screen televisions, video games, and briefcases. Bigger ticket items include a 2012 Honda 4-wheeler, a Gravely tractor and implements along with several motor vehicles.

"The vehicles they'll be sold tomorrow come rain come shine. We're going to try something different, they will be setup to be viewed, and you can kick the tires if you like. However when we do the actual auction we're going to be doing it inside the building. We'll have an 80 inch TV setup with the picture of the vehicle and that will keep us out of the weather if it's raining like it has been," commented Lt. Brett Rider, Allen County Sheriff's Office.

You can view items starting at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. The auction will get started at 10 a.m. and all items are sold "as is-where is". Terms of sale is cash or personal check with proper identification. Any person presenting a bad check will be prosecuted.
