Lima City Schools honoring 24 staff members at its annual years of service celebration Thursday night at Lima West Middle School.
Each year, staff members are recognized for reaching 20, 25, 30 and 40 years of service.
This year Geraldine Rigel, an Administrative Assistant at the Educational Center was recognized for reaching the 40 year mark.
Superintendent Jill Ackerman says she’s appreciative for the people who have committed to keeping their careers in the Lima City School District.
