It’s been bringing smiles to local kids for over six decades and they continue that tradition tonight(12/12/19).
The Husky Refinery, RMF Nooter, and Laborers Local 328 sponsored the 61st annual Christmas party for the Children’s Developmental Center. The center provides developmental preschool classes, as well as, physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs for students. Thanks to the sponsors' help, around 70 students enjoyed Christmas music, balloon animals, and face painting, but more importantly, the students were able to have a Christmas celebration with each other.
“It's an amazing opportunity for us to bring all of our families together, to not only our current students but we invite all of our PASS students, as well,” says Ex. Dir. of the Children’s Developmental Center, Elisha Reinke. “We're so grateful to Husky for partnering with us to make this possible for our families.”
Santa and Mrs. Claus also stopped by the party to hand out presents to all of the students.
