The Lima Kiwanis Club is selling tickets for its annual Chicken and Ham Bar-B-Que Dinner fundraiser to support youth leadership programs throughout Lima and Allen County. The drive-thru event will take place June 14 at Apollo Career Center, with proceeds benefiting programs that promote civic engagement and volunteerism among local students.

Simaya Morgan, president of the Lima Senior Key Club, also spoke about the value of the programs. “I would encourage the kids to keep continuing Key Club and continue even through college. I feel like this is very good. It helps kids, you know, learn people skills and learn how to work with the community more, and learn how important it is really to give back,” Morgan said.
