One of the two men convicted of murdering Bath student Ryan Young 30 years ago is up for parole, but the public can help keep him behind bars. 68-year-old Jose Bulerin is set to go before the Ohio Parole Board in March. Back in 1990, Bulerin and Richard Joseph stabbed Young to death and buried his body in a landfill in Auglaize County. Bulerin pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, as part of the plea deal for his testimony against Joseph, the possibility of a death sentence was taken off the table, which makes him eligible for parole.

A man convicted of a double murder will soon be up for parole and the victims' family is asking for the public's help to keep him behind bars. Robin Bender, of Columbus Grove, was convicted of murder back in 1974 for killing Kenny and his father, Louis Youngpeter, during a burglary on their family farm. He also attempted to Judy Youngpeter, Kenny's wife, who was looking to help during the attack. Before he fled the scene he threatened to come back and kill the family. He was sentenced to 20 years to life for the murders.
