The Bluffton University says the name change will help the school return to its roots and continue its peace-church heritage.

Bluffton students are getting the real-world experience of operating a business. The Bluffton Bread Company is a project that began this year for Bluffton students of many different majors. The company took inspiration from Bluffton Slaw Cutter Company, which was another student-run business. Students of different backgrounds are involved with this project. The money raised from bread sales will further fund this project and other learning initiatives at the university.
