Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik today announced $11.9 million in grants to help 73 counties prepare sites for redevelopment by demolishing existing unsafe, blighted buildings. 

The Allen County Land Bank is moving forward with a multi-structure demolition project, despite winter weather, aimed at improving some of the county’s most visible properties.

Dozens of properties changed hands Thursday as the Allen County Auditor’s Office held its foreclosure auction, drawing a packed room of bidders from across the county.
