Officers were called to a residence at 708 Lima Avenue just before 10 a.m. Wednesday morning where they learned that 28-year-old Joseph Box had left in a vehicle. Officers soon spotted the red KIA Sportage and a pursuit ensued. It continued for nearly 12 miles at speeds up to 90 miles an hour. Box lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree at 314 North Main Street in Mount Blanchard. He exited the vehicle fleeing on foot and was caught a short time later. Box was arrested for failure to comply and domestic violence. He also was cited for driving under suspension.
