The Ohio Department of Transportation says to let it snow because their fleet is ready for any of the white stuff that comes our way. ODOT District One has been conducting 150-point inspections on 118 trucks they use to keep the highways snow and ice-free in the 8 counties they serve. The plows and salt dispensers are checked to make sure they are ready to go when the snowflakes start to fall. The district also has over 45 thousand tons of salt on hand to spread and 240 thousand gallons of deicer to use before a winter storm hits.
