[May 10, 2024] — The American Red Cross and Cedar Fair theme parks are teaming up this summer to encourage the community to give blood. Those who come out to donate blood or platelets at select blood drives will receive a free Cedar Fair Park ticket in thanks for helping save lives. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, all from generous volunteer donors. During Trauma Awareness Month in May, help us keep hospitals prepared for all transfusion needs, including emergencies.
