One person was arrested during a OVI checkpoint in Auglaize County Friday night.

Partner agencies assisting with the checkpoint include the Auglaize County Sheriff s Office, the Wapakoneta Police Department, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.

June 7, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Defiance Post: DEFIANCE – The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Bryan Police Department and the Williams County Sheriff’s Office, announced today, that an OVI checkpoint will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM tonight on North Main Street in Bryan, Ohio, in Williams County. The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
