The Ohio Supreme Court rules on approximately 3,000 cases a year and Justice Judi French was in Lima explaining about how the court works. She was the guest speaker at the Allen County Republican Party luncheon. Justice French says they see around 2,000 cases directly sent to them from judges and lawyers that deal in disciplinary actions such as death penalties, utilities, and tax cases. They also review nearly 1,300 cases they choose to hear from applications of people who aren’t happy with their court decision.
