The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be joining forces with members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on safety belt enforcement across the state.
Earlier this month, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and members of the 6-State Trooper Project joined together to focus on removing drugs and illegal weapons from our communities.

September 24, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol: COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol joined forces with other members of the 6-State Trooper Project to focus on criminal patrol and drug interdiction. During the project, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers made 54 felony drug arrests for drugs and recovered 13 illegal firearms. The enforcement effort included the Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, West Virginia State Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol. The initiative began on Thursday, September 12 at 12:01 a.m. and continued through Sunday, September 15 at 11:59 p.m.
