LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Parents, students, and mentors bonded and got to know each other at a holiday party on Thursday. 

Unity Elementary School students and their families got the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving a little early this year. Close to 200 people attended the third annual Thanksgiving meal at Unity Elementary School. Families enjoyed ham, cheesy potatoes, green beans, and several desserts. This year's meal was provided by Grace Community Church and school staff helped serve. It's hosted every year to show families how much the school and community cares about them.
