Ryan visited Henry’s Restaurant in Ottawa to voice his message to potential voters and share his vision on why he should be the Democratic representative to vie for the Senate seat when Rob Portman retires. He spoke about what he is currently working on in the House of Representatives, and how that affects the state of Ohio. He said he is not interested in culture wars and is running mainly on creating jobs, living wages, manufacturing, beating, and outcompeting China to rebuild the middle class. With the increasing number of Democrats joining the race, he talked to us about why he is the best candidate for the group.
