The Allen County Sheriff's Office unveiled a new mobile drone command center equipped with two drones to assist with searches, emergencies and public safety operations. Officials say the drones will debut at the Allen County Fair before being used for incidents such as locating missing children and adults with dementia.

Earlier this week, Allen County Sheriff's deputies began wearing body cameras for the first time.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is in the midst of budget discussions with county commissioners for 2026.
