Nearly 100 seventh- and eighth-grade students from 23 northwest Ohio schools competed at Ohio State Lima in the regional Power of the Pen creative writing competition, with top finishers advancing to the state tournament in May.

“So it's a very important meeting for our parents to show up next Tuesday night,” said Lima Senior Principal Darnell Collins. “We're having information on ProgressBook and Schoology, which is our online platform for parents to be able to log in, check their student’s grades and attendance, and also be able to talk to their teachers. That way, we're going over graduation requirements, as well as some other things in our handbook as well that the parents need to know about for their students.”
