The results are in! The National Geographic Society named Maddox Bell, an eighth grader at Elida Middle School, as one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2020 National Geographic GeoBee State Competition. The contest will be held at the Ohio History Center in Columbus on Friday, March 27, 2020. In a competition held on January 29th at Elida Middle School, seventh grade student Ryan Sheidler placed 2nd and sixth grade student Ally Sharp placed 3rd.
