Activate Allen County and Mercy Health want to make sure that families are on the path to having a healthy holiday. The Heathy Families Expo was full of activities for the kids and information about area resources for adults. The young people could enjoy the bounce house, or get a balloon sculptures, and get their face painting. Adults could visit one of dozens of booths to learn about local programs to help promote a healthy mind, body, spirit. Stedic Music helped keep the crowd entertained throughout the afternoon. Plus, with the help of Santa and one of his reindeer, the Expo shows that the holidays could be more than just merry and bright.
The Auglaize County Health Department has teamed up with Grand Lake Health System, Mercy Health - St. Rita's, and Kroger Pharmacy to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine quicker. The health department's clinics are booked for the next two weeks, however the other three still have spots. Only residents 80 years and older are eligible at this time.
Members of the Putnam County YMCA have no excuses now to say they don’t have time to exercise. That’s because thanks to a partnership with Mercy Health - Saint Ritas, members will have 24/7 access to exercise equipment. The “Mercy Health Fitness Room” has new equipment, cameras for security, and improved wi-fi coverage for people in the building. The renovations are something that the “Y” has been working on for almost a year to meet the needs of its members.
