Bowling Green State University is extending the application period for its scholarship program aimed at helping individuals with science, technology, engineering and mathematics – or STEM – backgrounds earn their teaching licensure in a flexible, online format within one year.

Area science teachers learned how to spice up their classroom lectures on Thursday. Ohio Northern University hosted a teacher's engineering workshop to help assist teachers with how to engage their students in the classroom. Teachers from across northwest Ohio got the chance to learn three hands-on projects that they can use to help create inspirational lessons to help their students better connect with science.
