On February 21, 2024, the Office of the Ohio Inspector General (OIG) received a complaint alleging that co-sponsors of a project to build a roundabout at the intersection of State Route 162 and River Styx Road in Medina, County, OH, submitted a fraudulent application to obtain federal funding from a roadway program that pays for eligible project costs, including construction costs.
