A Hamilton, Ohio, woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash yesterday in Mercer County. 33-year-old Jamie Teufel died from her injuries from a crash that happened sometime Sunday afternoon on State Route 49 near Koch Road.  According to Sheriff Jeff Grey, a deputy was patrolling that area around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night when the wrecked SUV was found. Teufel was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital, where she ended up dying from her injuries. Deputies say she was traveling south on 49 when her vehicle went left of center and then into a ditch. The SUV traveled in the ditch for a while, until it hit a culvert. The vehicle went airborne and rolled multiple times. The crash remains under investigation.

Sheriff Jeff Grey reports that his deputies have conducted two extraditions from Florida in the last week.  

Mercer County Sheriff, Jeff Grey says they are still actively working on the case-but new evidence shows foul play was involved.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Department was called to this 5098 Rauh Road in Fort Recovery Sunday evening after receiving multiple calls of an unresponsive 4-year-old child.
