Students from the Northwest Conference go head to head in the 3rd Scholastic Bowl Tournament. Ohio State Lima hosted the competition, which pitted teams from eight conference schools against one another in seven rounds of questions in areas like history, science, math, and pop culture. There are varsity and junior varsity divisions for the tournament, with a winner crowned in each category. The tournament continues the competitive nature between the schools that goes beyond the athletic courts and fields.

The world of professional bowling is once again setting course for the town of Coldwater this weekend. The annual Bowlerstore.com Classic super regional kicks off this weekend at Pla-Mor Lanes in Coldwater. For over 15 years, professional bowlers have come to the annual PBA event and put their talents on display for all in the community to see. Over 96 bowlers came through the alley Friday afternoon for their practice session before the tournament begins tomorrow through Sunday. Ownership at Pla-Mor Lanes always has this time of the year circled on their calendar, and they say this year's tournament promises to be a good one.

May 29, 2024, Press Release from Fred Steiner: Bluffton Village Council will designate a section of Bentley Road in Bluffton as “Honorary Elbert Dubenion Drive.” The action that took place May 28 recognizes Elbert Dubenion, 1959 Bluffton College graduate, who played for nine seasons with the Buffalo Bills professional football team. He is the only Bluffton athlete to play professional football.
