A former Lima city employee accused of stealing money from the city has taken a plea deal. 76-year-old Sue Barnett has changed her plea as part of an agreement. Barnett pleaded guilty in Allen County Common Pleas Court to theft in office and telecommunications fraud, both third-degree felonies. As part of the agreement, four other charges have been dropped and she may not run for public office or hold public employment.
