A 5-year-old Allen County boy is a finalist in a national Junior Ranger contest that celebrates children’s passion for the outdoors. Community members can support him by voting daily beginning March 30 as he competes for a prize package and national recognition.

“Had to do a lot of research. I don't know very much about concrete or any of that kind of stuff, so I did some research. I figured out the basis I need to do for pouring concrete, installing these benches,” Rodden said.
