HARROD (WLIO) — Allen East stayed hot at home and overwhelmed Hardin Northern 27-2 to improve to 8-2 on the season.
The Mustangs were already in control in the second inning when Caleb Lybarger drove in Ethan Hershberger on a grounder to third to make it 6-0. Later in the frame, Levi Clum added another run with a shallow fly that dropped in right field, and Colt Snyder followed with an RBI triple to the wall in right that scored Clum from first.
Hardin Northern’s Zyler Long recorded his lone strikeout of the game through two innings, but Allen East’s offense kept piling on.
Lybarger also starred on the mound for the Mustangs, tossing a five-inning complete game with nine strikeouts while allowing just two hits.
Allen East rolled the rest of the way for the lopsided home win.
