HARROD — Allen East celebrated senior night in style on Tuesday, rallying past Spencerville 3-1 in a Northwest Conference volleyball matchup.
The Mustangs dropped the opening set 25-21 despite a strong start that featured a kill from senior Ella Downing. Spencerville responded behind Alexis Post, who hammered a kill down the sideline, and Andrea Shaw, who closed out the set with sharp defense at the net.
From there, Allen East took control. Sophomore Aleena Nickles provided a spark in the second set with a composed finish at the net, and the Mustangs rode that momentum to take the next three sets and the match.
Allen East improved to 8-10 on the season while Spencerville fell to 5-13.
