ELIDA (WLIO) — Arlington turned defense into offense and pulled away for a 33-21 win over Pandora-Gilboa in a Division VII district semifinal.
Raeleigh Bowers sparked the Red Devils early with a steal and score. Savannah Knueven answered for the Rockets, recording her 1,000th career point to keep it close. Madison Ernst helped Arlington take a 17-11 lead into halftime.
Pandora-Gilboa tried to rally behind Kelsie Carlson, but Mae Alexander’s third-quarter triple helped seal it. Arlington moves on to face Tiffin Calvert on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Willard.
