LIMA (WLIO) - Our Countdown to Kickoff series wraps up with the reigning Toledo City League champion, the Lima Senior Spartans.

Lima Senior went 9-3 last season, winning the City League title before falling in the second round of the playoffs.

The Spartans return in 2026 looking for more, but they'll have to do it with a young quarterback and several new faces stepping into key roles.

Lima Senior will look to reload quickly and make another run at the City League crown and a deeper playoff run.
