LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Two Bulldogs student-athletes made their college commitments official Wednesday, signing to continue their careers at the next level.

Parker Crim, a standout on the football field, signed with the University of Illinois.

Crim is a two-time Western Buckeye League Defensive Lineman of the Year and a first-team all-league defender. He will head to Champaign next season to compete in the Big Ten Conference.

On the volleyball court, Addysen Sneary announced her commitment to the University of Findlay.

The two-time WBL first-team selection will join an Oilers program currently competing in the NCAA Tournament.

Sneary is expected to add depth and versatility to a strong Findlay roster when she arrives next fall.

Both athletes were celebrated by teammates, coaches and family as they marked major milestones in their athletic careers.

"It's a blessing. I thank God every day. Thank my mom. Everybody my coaches, they've all been there for me. I've been working hard for this. I'm just trying to make the most of it. They treat us like people. Some colleges don't have the head coaches talk to you like Bielema does, a great guy. They treat my Mom well, that's really what made a no-brainer for me. It's everything I wanted. They were there from day one, contacting me, and it just feels like a real family down there," says Crim.

Sneary added, "Findlay has always been a top choice for me. It's been a top program and as well as an athletic program. And once I went onto campus there for my visit, I immediately fell in love with the campus. I definitely had a connection with the players and the people there. I mean, it's kind of like surreal to me, like this has been the dream ever since I was a little girl, so I'm very, like, humbled and honored to be able to achieve this dream. I'm hoping to bring a lot of leadership and energy. I'm looking for positivity and a positive team, and as well as being a great teammate to all the other girls and just being that one that you know has got their back and is very supportive."
