Division III and IV runners compete at district meet in Columbus Grove

COLUMBUS GROVE, Ohio (WLIO) — Several local athletes punched their tickets to regionals at the Division III and Division IV cross country district championships at Clymer Stadium.
In Division IV boys, Crestview senior Lincoln Smith claimed the district title with a time of 16:15, standing atop the podium for the Knights.
In the Division IV girls race, Minster junior Claire Bohman finished first overall, crossing the line in 19:17.
On the Division III girls side, Bath sophomore Penny Francis finished fourth overall, crossing at 19:14.
In Division III boys, Ottawa-Glandorf senior Cooper Fischer placed second, clocking in at 16:53 in the final race of the day.
