BLUFFTON, Ohio - The quarterfinal field is set at the Lima City Golf Championship following championship qualifying and Round of 16 match play at Bluffton Golf Club.

Justin Akers advanced with a 2-and-1 win over Joe Hobensack, while Todd Burkholder defeated Scott Geier to earn a spot in Friday's quarterfinals. Last year's runner-up, Tyler Breidenbach, also moved on with a 3-and-2 victory over two-time champion Josh Hollar.

Kyle Sutton, John Schlenker and Logan Dray earned byes after posting the top three qualifying scores and will join the remaining quarterfinalists Friday morning at Colonial Golfers Club.
