Elida explodes for eight-run first inning, tops Fort Jennings in five innings

FORT JENNINGS (WLIO) — Elida wasted no time taking control, erupting for eight runs in the first inning on the way to a 12-0 win over Fort Jennings in five innings at Revolution Field.
Jonan Snyder drove in the game’s first run, Gavin Tickle followed with an RBI single, and Carson Kirk added a two-run hit as the Bulldogs kept the pressure on. Gabe Miley later drove in two more with a shot to deep center, and Ben Adcock capped the inning with a sacrifice fly.
Colton Graham handled the rest on the mound, striking out four over four innings while allowing just one hit.
